Instructions

1. Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Prepare the Dough:

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to fit a greased 9×13-inch baking pan. Press it into the bottom and up the sides of the pan.

3. Layer the Ingredients:

Start layering the fillings on top of the dough:
Begin with the salami and ham.
Add the provolone cheese.
Layer on the roasted red peppers, spinach, and black olives (if using).
Drizzle the Italian dressing evenly over the layers.

4. Add Top Layer:

Roll out another portion of pizza dough to cover the top. Press the edges to seal it with the bottom dough.

5. Season and Bake:

Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese (if using).
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

6. Cool and Slice:

Allow the sub squares to cool for about 10-15 minutes before slicing into squares.

7. Serve:

Serve warm or at room temperature. These are great as-is or with a side of marinara sauce for dipping!
Enjoy these hearty and flavorful Italian Sub Squares! They’re sure to be a hit!
