Today I came to visit my in-laws.
After dinner they were craving something sweet and suggested to go for donuts, but I volunteered to make some cookies instead.
This recipe is very easy, but in order to make the little balls, I had to put the dough a few minutes in the freezer.
This cookies melt in your mouth and make your in-laws happy.

  • Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 cup softened butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup confectioner’s sugar (for dusting)

Instructions:

1️ Cream the softened butter in a large mixing bowl until smooth.

2️ Gradually add in the sweetened condensed milk, mixing until well combined.

3️ Sift in the flour and baking powder, then mix to form a soft dough.

4️ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

5️ Scoop small amounts of dough, roll into balls, and place on the baking sheet.

6️ Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly golden.

7️ Let the cookies cool slightly before dusting with confectioner’s sugar.

  • Notes

Baked cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in a refrigerator. If you know you’re going to freeze them, I don’t suggest dusting them with powdered sugar until you thaw them.
