Instructions:
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the breakfast sausage and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until the gravy has thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
Season the gravy with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serve the sausage gravy over warm biscuits.
